The Interstate Swim is an exciting offering for sea swimmers, who want to unlock a new challenge and new destination for a swim. We are swimming across state borders, from Maharashtra to Goa.
The West coast of India boasts of beautiful, pristine beaches, with clear blue waters to swim through - an open water swimmer’s dream!
This is a 5 km long swim, and with the seasonal shift in the weather, this swim is open to intermediate and advanced level swimmers, who are looking for a little adventure and excitement in a long distance swim. If you’re looking for slightly choppy conditions to test yourself, this one’s for you!

Our first long distance swim of GOWSC Season 2024- 25 is here, and we cannot wait!
Swimmers will meet at Bambolim beach, hop aboard a boat and head to our starting point. Swimmers doing the 5 km swim, will start their journey at the break of dawn, and the 2.5 km distance swimmers will jump off at the halfway mark, making it back to our home beach, in Bambolim bay!
