Safety
The sea is unpredictable and conditions can change within a fraction of seconds. It is crucial to ensure the safety of each swimmer when they venture out into the sea.
Safety is our top priority.
While swimming in the sea is a highly rewarding experience there are certain challenges that every sea swimmer faces. To help our participants get the most out of their swim in a safe and enjoyable environment all GOWSC instructors go through a rigorous training process conducted by The Special Rescue Training Academy.
All our instructors are trained and certified in the use of rescue equipment, first aid and CPR, in addition to this they also receive training in advanced rescue procedures including the use of AED machines and oxygen administration
We also work closely with Drishti Marine, the state appointed lifeguard service at all our camps, destination swims and other events.
